PARIS FASHION WEEK — NEXT BIG THING
Emre YasarShare
On June 28th 2025 I stood on stage at Titi Palacio, right in the middle of Paris Fashion Week, as part of the Next Big Thing fashion show. Sharing the runway with other upcoming brands from the Paris scene was an honor, but also a statement: Bleached Renaissance had arrived.
In the spotlight was my most recent collection, STATEMENTS: “Feels on Garments.” A collection not only meant to be seen, but to be felt. The Paris audience received it raw and direct. People called it a statement. They wanted to introduce me to everyone. It hit.
What stayed with me the most? How natural it felt. As if I was exactly where I needed to be, without having to explain anything. The intention and emotion woven into the designs were understood just as clearly as the design itself and that is rare.
It gave me space. Space to land, to create, to connect. The organization carried pure professionalism — from crew to atmosphere, from show flow to lighting. Everything was in place. When I pointed this out, they simply said: oui bien sûr, c’est Paris.
And they were right.
This experience reminded me of something important:
You don’t need to be understood everywhere. You just need to find the places where your work resonates. Where people don’t just see the design, but feel the thought behind it.
In Paris, I didn’t feel the need to explain. The energy spoke for itself.
From Amersfoort to Paris; this felt like coming home.
And it’s only the beginning.
